Two Great Speeches by Daniel Hannan

I’ve been a fan of Daniel Hannan since his speech to Britain’s Prime Minister went viral months ago. Below are two recent speeches he gave, the first in the European Parliament (where he serves as M.E.P. of South East England), and the second at the International Leaders’ Summit in Brussels.

I felt like shouting when the first video ended. Not only is he right on with everything he says, but he even mentioned the Massachusetts victory – and he grasps its political significance.

This is a more polished speech, being a lecture that he obviously had time to prepare for. Notice how he tells a story to make his point, and then weaves the analogy throughout the rest of the speech.
